THE BOOKS are Nick Zammuto and Paul de Jong. Their music is a mix of aleatoric, electronica, folk, and acoustic music.
They combine field and found recordings often sampled from commonplace sounds and daily life. Their collection is woven into an organized chaos and eventually the parts are unrecognizable. The music is almost narrative and each object or voice takes on a character.
